Part Four 1997 - 2022

In most of my adventures, no one has peyote growing on her kitchen table.

Here's the part where I live happily ever after.

In 1997, JW and I get to take part in the design and building of the Skatestreet Skatepark in Ventura, California.

In 1998, I get hired to help build a fabulous redwood Hippy palace on Vine Hill Road near Sebastopol, California.

In 1998, I move into Carol Latvala's house.

In 1998, I'm installing 400-year old doors into a new Villa being constructed on a hilltop near Summerland, California.

In 1998, Carol and I spend two months in Nepal and Bali, and go trekking in the Himalayas.

In 1999, we lose Dick Latvala.

In 2000, I create my first website.

In 2001, Johnny and I take a trip to China.

In 2002, Carol and Caroline and I take a trip to Costa Rica.

In 2001, I take part in further upgrades of the Vine Hill House.

In 2004, I part of the crew working for David Larkin on a new house near Hillsboro.

In 2005, I'm hired by Bill Stockton and Ali Pearson to restore and remodel barns on their new 8-acre farm in Sebastopol. Projects last three years.

In 2008, I'm hired by Denise Nelson to conduct a major remodel in Kenwood, California. The project lasts 2 1/2 years.

In 2010, I move to Santa Barbara to care for my Mom.

In 2012, we lose my Mom, age 100 years.

In 2013, I move back in with Carol in Petaluma.

In 2013, I'm back working with Bill and Ali, upgrading the existing houses and building a new one.

In 2015, I'm instrumental in turning the historic UC Theatre in Berkeley into a modern concert venue.

In 2017, I'm building a brand new house on Bill and Ali's property.

In 2019, I'm in Hawaii, sorting out Patti's living situation.

In 2020, we're mainly hunkered down with the Covid slowdown. Small projects for Bill and Ali.

In 2021, ditto.

In 2022, I'm finding time to do some writing.
